Ella Fence was born and raised on the Gold Coast. Studying at both Griffith University and Bond University and is now an active member of the music community.

Your mind wanders into a great western film with Nancy Sinatra as the leading lady. Cinematic Folk/ Pop describes Australian powerhouse singer and front woman Ella Fence. Fresh off the back of Bluesfest Byron Bay (2016), Ella toured the US, Canada and the UK with her all female band.

Ella is cast as Snow White in a dark-twisted version of the story, a collaboration between Opera Queensland and La Boite Theatre Company at Brisbane Festival.

Not only did Ella record the first four tracks of her EP Wanderlust at the renowned Brighton Electric Studios (UK), home to the likes of artists such as The Cure and Royal Blood, with producer Dan Swift (Snow Patrol, Passenger), she then recorded the B-side track with Ken Stringfellow (REM, The Posies).
